Am I the only person here who thinks it's a bit bizarre to have a memorial service for a dog complete with pictures and news coverage?

I guess I'm just a terrible human being.

In general I probably agree with you, but the people who are closest to me are infinitely more important to me than any animal could be.

I think some people fail to make that distinction. At least it seems that way to me.
