Favorite movie? Music? Field of Dreams, lots of different musical tastes but my fave artist is Counting Crows

Best poker acomplishment? How long been playing? I've been playing in some form or another since I was about 15, but only figured out that I didn't know what I was doing last July, and have done much better since then. Best accomplishments since then include a bunch of final tables, including 4th out of 3500 in a 20k Party freeroll. Also getting my first MTT win in a 99-person MTT was nice.

I'm a psych major, and a history minor. I definitely like history more than psych, but for some reason I'd rather major in psych.

Love Rounders... I pretty much like all forms of music, don't really have a favorite band/artist at the moment.

6th in the party 500k for 13,000 was good. Been playing since I turned 17, so basically my senior year in high schoo. Been play serious for about 9 months now. These days I'm sort of turned off by tournaments. Somehow the idea of playing for 6 hours to a lose a coinflip and make 5 buy ins instead of 200, isn't all that appealing. Go figure! Lately I've been playing NL 1000 on party with some very mild success. Hopefully I'll stop being a donkey and learn how to play deep stacked poker better.

FWIW I am just as sarcastic in real life as I am online.

Don't know if I qualify as a regular, but here goes:

[ QUOTE ]

How old are you? Birthday? 35 Years old
Where do you live? Santa Monica, CA
Are you married? Girlfriend/Boyfriend? Children? Married, with a beautiful son who turned 5 months old yesterday.
Occupation besides poker? Advertising, political consulting, and writing.
Best poker acomplishment? How long been playing? Played seriously for three years and have made progressively more $$ each year. Biggest single accmplishment is winning a seat in the 2005 WSOP ME and cashing (though near the bottom).
Feel free to add any other information or pictures about yourself you want to share. I enjoy your posts and blogs very much, but the writer in me can't resist pointing out that this should be titled the "semi-annual" thread. Biannual means every two years.

3rd in Bodog 100k for $9200 in August was my best cash. My biggest accomplishment has been turning my in-shambles $200 bankroll I had on Thanksgiving, into $8000 as of yesterday. It's been a hell of a turnaround for me. I started playing in July '04, but didn't have any clue what I was doing until about March of '05.
