If we don't question plays by better players how do we learn? FWIW I think you have to constantly adjust your plan based on flop, action, etc. If this wasn't a perfect spot to take a stab at the flop, I don't know what is.

7s was up against utg chip leader.

9s were against tag betting into 2 people (no idea why he was raising k-6os preflop middle position).

flop calling is pretty standard.

Do you have any idea who Prahlad is? If you did you would realize how stupid this comment.

i had a tight image, and was raising EP, not MP. i was raising to steal the blinds, at that point, and happened to catch a good flop i could also bet out to take down.

Thanks. That's what I thought. It went c/bet, call; check, check when the A hit; bet, fold.

The only reason PF doesn't call on the river with his hand is because of the bet size in relation to his chip stack and the chance Gold backed into the A. As I said earlier, PF probably makes this call all-day in a cash game when he can reload.

I don't know what the chip situation was exactly, but why did you push the turn? Do you regret that at all?

[/ QUOTE ]I wondered this as well. I think either a check or a smaller bet would've been better, although obviously we saw the cards. Were you afraid of a flush draw or set(FH draw)?
