Can party's CPU hogging somehow be related to PAHud?
Everything is working fine for me when i'm using Yuks handgrabber and importing from 12 tables at once but when i start up PAhud and start playing things go haywire. |

I'm not sure... it's going haywire for me and I tried disabling/re-enabling PAHud.
Because of this SNG Opener is not working for me. This is becoming frustrating.... |

Try using the beta version of PA Hud. Version 1.14 has some CPU issues for some people.

The Party memory leak only exists while playing...
You can datamine forever and the CPU should be reasonable but once you start playing it'll slowly starting creeping up. This has nothing to do with PAH. |

I contacted party support and here's what they gave me. Suffice to say I followed their step-by-step solution and it didn't change anything.

That crap is such a joke. It's their standard line to fix pretty much every problem.
I'm having the same thing: 100% CPU usage. I was using GT+, PartyPlanner, DeMonster and PT while having the problem. I just switched today to PAHUD instead of GT and am still having 100% CPU usage. Is the problem PostreSQL by chance? This started happening for me right around that time. |

[/ QUOTE ] There is no problem with Postgres; however, Postgres is yet another set of processes that will consume CPU. That is one disadvantage of using Postgres over Access, but I think most will agree the advantages heavily outweight the disadvantages... |

I don't see how. You can have a bigger database. That's pretty much it unless you do all those fancy postgre querries.

Ok that explains it, didn't think there was a difference between mining and playing 12 tables that's why i thought it was related to PAH in some way.
Soo i guess we'll just have to wait until party fixes their coding? I'm going to try running process guard though. |
