[ QUOTE ]
Yeah, I'm having trouble with the 4/180's as well. I haven't played 80 yet but I keep getting in with the best hand but it never holds up. [/ QUOTE ] I played the 20/180's casually for a bit with lots of bubbles, busting with AK in 19th place stuff like that. I busted twice last week on the final 2 tables with AA allin PF. Don't get frustrated, eventually you'll break thru them. My previous best finish was only 4th, but now I've had 2 2nd places in the last 5 days. Variance is a bitch. One of the best things would be watching videos on Pokerxfactor. Mattster has some good ones. |

[ QUOTE ]
I don't have a life and frequently 3 table these gbad boys. [/ QUOTE ]Same here. In fact, what I've been doing is 3 tabling, and if I bust in one then I fire up another unless I'm deep in one of the remaining tournys. If nothing else, this helps me keep variance in perspective. It's a lot easier to take a bad beat deep in one tourny when I have another going well. And I am getting much more used to my dominating hands getting cracked, as is bound to happen playing so many hands. Even an 80% favorite loses 1 in 5 times. And since you have to double up 4.5 times to get to the final table with a better than average stack in these . . . |

Jeff,
You and I do exactly the same thing. It helps detilt for sure, and starts to put poker/MTTs in a little persepctive. Also, if I start to make a run/go deep in one...I'm usually busted out of one or two and can focus on it more. |
