Am I the only one not too impressed with AC's call with A high? Anybody who plays a lot of short-handed poker learns to make A-high calls -- especially on boards like that. Clearly it was a good call, but it wasn't insane.

I hear ya. It's still an impressive call, given the stakes (note how in 14 hours of coverage you didn't see any other calls quite like this), but I can't put it in the same class as that unbelievable bluff with KQ.

The insane thing was that he just called with A high knowing it was good. A-high calls are rare for pots like that. Normally youd throw in a raise if you knew he was weak, because even if hes bluffing with a small piece you are beat.

Hellmuth saying that Gold calls raises with hands like Q6 and the flop comes Q6K and he wins a big pot against someone with KQ.
