1. Fun post.

2. I think we all know what the problems were in this hand.

I seriously think Hachem thought he was betting the river for value. He's horrible.

I was playing at the table during this hand. Two clarifications that should be made are:

1) The game was actually $25 ante, $50 BB (only one $50 blind with a $25 ante, which plays much bigger than 10-25.. or 25/50 for that matter)

2) The whole table had a side bet going that if you won with 72 and showed, everyone at the table would give you $100. Since everyone was playing 72 everytime they got it, you could see how this would factor in slightly in a hand with a 722 flop.

I have never been a huge fan of Antonio, but I must give him credit for those calls.

Hachem won about $22k off some guy about an hour later with AA vs KK all in preflop.. so he made it back in short order. Hachem, is a real nice guy. In fact he bought a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue for the table.

The table also included at different times; Kenna James, Mike Gracz, and Johnny Chan.

I'm proud to say I won my 72 side bet vs. Chan and Hachem... My highlight of the night/trip.

Did Hachem even bother to put Esfandieri on a hand before he chose what amount to bet on the river? DIIIIICK.

i was thinking the exact same as silverlining1.

hachem seems to keep firing in the hope esfandieri will fold, not putting him on a hand and deciding the best course of action.

Obviously I can't say whether or not he was betting the river for value, but I think his bet on the river is requisite.

Problem is, I have a feeling Hachem never knew whether he was value-betting or bluffing at any point in the hand.

And I'm utterly baffled by his turn bet.
