[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Capping the turn seems fine. I think check-calling the flop is a fairly large error though. [/ QUOTE ]this is a standard flop c/r for me but I figured he would read that as a strong hand, we have quite a history. [/ QUOTE ] If he'll read a checkraise from you as a strong play then I don't think you should be capping the turn after he 3bets your c/r. Rob [/ QUOTE ]well, what I meant by that is he would read a flop screwplay as a strong hand or flush draw. I don't often c/r turns so he doesn't have much of a read on what it represents from me. basically, I was just trying to mix it up by c/r'ing the turn instead of the flop to induce action. [/ QUOTE ] What you're saying just doesn't make sense. He'll give you lots of action if you check-call the flop and checkraise the turn, but not if you checkraise the flop multiway with a flush draw on board? In addition, it's not a screwplay, just a checkraise. If you think he won't give you lots of action if you checkraise the flop, consider betting. Get a few bets in on the flop and do whatever you can do maximize your action against worse hands. Rob |

Easyeasyeasy turn cap. I'd say his range on the turn is KJ, JJ, KK, 33, AK espeically AhKh, maybe KQ, and maybe some odd pair plus draw type hands.

the converter is messed up, because it has you check/calling the flop.
