yes sir he did! not after the hand was over though, after the hand was over he went on tilt, lost most of the 190ish he had left, got down to 30 and started pushing every hand for 3 hands until BUSTO

Is strategy allowed here? You need to work on your raise sizing.

discouraged, but you have my interest. Which raises should have been differently sized? How would your answer change if I said that I had just recently doubled through villain a bit before this hand, and he had minraised and 3bet preflop with QTs, hit top pair and doubled me up?

I'm not sure I agree. The opponent and I are both deep, and I know before this hand that he is capable of making big mistakes, but isn't utterly crazy. Against mediocre players, I usually tread an utg minraise as a limp, so the raise to 10 is standard. The second raise I made was sized so that he wouldn't fold all but the best hands in his range. If I raise more there, I'm pretty sure he folds a lot of hands that I want him to call with.

Also I'm fairly new to NL after playing about 300k hands of limit, so I am very interested in your responses Pudge and wdead

Two comments:

1. Villian in this hand is a huge donkey
2. As a limit player who has dabbled in NL lately, I have learned that apparently putting in larger raises with hands like AA is impotartant for value, the possiblity of running into another big hand (e.g. a big pair), but most importantly cutting down your opponents' implied odds.
