Aha! It was a c-bet, pure and simple. Time to induce a river bluff....

That bet made me pee myself a little bit. Of course, at my age bladder control is a constant problem....Anyways, I figured that this cannot be a value bet -- nobody plays a made hand on the turn in this way, and the odds that villain made his hand on the river are virtually nil. I suck it up and call, knowing that it's very likely this is a desperation bluff.

This table is awful. There are literally three players with VPIPs over 50%. A preflop raise will not isolate, will result in two or three callers, and will leave me with a weakish hand against a wide field, and with no idea of where I stand. I limp behind.

No offense, but I do not think Hero played either hand well. The preflop betting in particular is way too small.

This is a hand that a month ago, I would have bet for "value." I may have gotten it all in by the flop, but who knows. Thanks mostly to twoplustwo I am trying to get it all in as fast as possible.

For the four day weekend last week I made over $1,100 with a win rate of almost 17.5 PT BB/100. I hope this weekend works out as well.
