wow this guy really is tellin you he has the A-high flush beat here. I probably would cap the turn, and call a river bet.

fyi, ace high flush is not the nut flush on a 4567s board.

and also, if your hand wasn't good enough to cap the turn why is it suddenly good enough to raise the river? i would almost certainly just call down after getting 3-bet on the turn.

I know what you're saying, but it's all semantics. A-high flush is technically the nuts when it comes to flushes. However, what you're trying to say is that the nuts in this situation is not a flush, but rather a straight flush, which is not in the same category as a flush, even though it has the word 'flush' in its name.

Thanks, I guess I made an error of raising and then capping the river. It just felt weak to be calling down with the A high flush.

No, it's not. If you're behind, you're dead. If you're ahead, Vill is drawing to at most one out. You're nowhere near 50/50 ahead/behind.
