You push. Only way I would ever fold against this villain is if this is the first time I've ever seen him minraise.

i think shoving is ok and folding is not a big mistake. [/ QUOTE ] I dont think you should ever fold in this spot. AQ crushes his PF min-raising range and with a fold from villain (which is all too likely) you pad youre stack by ~42%. |

I think this is 100% read based. I am not sure exactly what you mean by villain is 19/13.
If this is the first minraise you have seen then I lean towards fold. If he minriases a lot preflop then I push. If you have no read I feel it really doesn't matter much. If villain pushed would you call? He may not have odds to call you with just about anything he would have raised with, but AK he will obviously call, and as long as it is HU he will likely call with any pp as well. Do you have any read on BB at all? will the BB defend with a raise or will he stop N go? If you were the BB it is an easy push/defend, but folding here is by no means terrible in my opinion. |

I think this is 100% read based. I am not sure exactly what you mean by villain is 19/13. [/ QUOTE ] Its an often used convention. First number is VP$IP and second is PFR. OP: I grit my teeth and push this. If he is actually raising 13% you are ahead like 53/47 you have 8 BBS, you should have some FE, its **seven** handed there is nearly 50% of your stack in the middle and this would be a clear trivial push without a limper/minraiser. Also these types that tend to raise a lot of marginal hands will also limp there premium pairs setting the Party Donkey Trap. I hate a fold here and am not terribly comfortable with a call if BB has any idea what he is doing. |
