Raise more on the turn.

Then the river push is too small.

Duh?!?

sorry if you're being sarcastic, but if he calls the turn raise you give up and don't bet the river.

This is a pretty bad bluff. Your play doesn't really make a lot of sense to a thinking player.

Best advice I ever got; you're not trying to confuse your opponent with a bluff, your trying to give him no doubt in his mind what cards you hold.

Guys, I hope you mean that I should raise to 200 on the turn and then CHECK behind on river? Cuz this guy will certainly (like many of you have said) call my river push if he has called my turn raise (of course I didn't know this before this hand).

I still think he is a moron
He stacked me 10 minutes later when I had AA on Q9T flop, of course he has KJ and of course he leads out pot, I raise, he pushes and tiltcalllllll by me

What hand calls flop, minraises turn and pushes river? Is this ever a missed FD when the turn has been a blank?

Exactly what does a thinking player put me on, and will a thinking player fold to a river half-pot bet thinking i MIGHT have 99 or better? I really really dont get it, is it the slight overbet push that gives away my hand?

I may have made the same call. The best way to play this would have been to make a much bigger raise on the turn. Why would you bet the river so hard if you had a 6? Wouldn't you want a ten to call?

That isn't a great bluff really. Villain has to put you on a very small range of hands as it is, and that board really isnt dry enough to do it. I think A/10 and JJ+ look you up a lot of the time here. If the river had brought a flush card I think it would've been a great line to take because you easily could've been semi-bluffing the turn with a flush draw + overs. Once you min-raise the turn and the river blanks you really just have to give up.
