I call. You guys are giveing sheets too much credit for a big hand its most likely a big to decent draw. If he thinks the player will consider folding AJ here he going to be pushing you around with a lot, and by even just posting this hand im guesssing he had a read that you would fold a lot of hands to his push here. [/ QUOTE ] pretty much my exact reasoning for the call. |

sheets doesnt do this with a worse ace than AJ I think, nor does he flat pre.
this smells most of 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]x [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], like T7spades. he also does this with 77 and 22. i think he takes a different line with AQ, AK. He figures you for a CB that will fold to a cr allin, or a strong ace that will call. i think a set doesnt do this too often? after thinking it through i would call, but I know for a fact I'm either ahead a little, or a big dog. it just seems sheets would only use this line with a big draw, if he has a set gg. |

I agree his most likely holding are a set or a draw and not top pair.

I call quick here. Sheets is never going to c/r all in this big with AK/AQ/two pair/sets here. Pretty much the what 'better hands fold and what worse hands call', especially if he knows you're a 2+2er.
edit: I would also call with KK here. edit: my mistake, he is def. capable of doing this with relative monsters like sets (two pair very unlikely). However, I think that he has AK/AQ a very slim portion of the time. All I'm saying is that I'm never giving him credit for an A. edit 3: more stuff. I'm not saying that AK/AQ is out of his range for calling preflop (a lot of good players will certainly mix it up by calling with these hands a certain % of the time and re-raising some % of the time). however, given the flop action, I think AK/AQ becomes very improbable. |

[/ QUOTE ] Roman, I think he almost always raises AK preflop, and at least some of the time with AQ. And when he has AQ I don't know if he plays the flop that way. I'd fear 77, but I feel like a KsQs type hand is fairly likely. |
