I used the search terms +"I was wrong" +"sorry" and found 4 posts in the last week, and 18 in the last month. Most of those seem to be actual admissions of mistakes.

Just +"I was wrong" returned over 200 in the last month, but many of those were out of context.

I've admitted that I was wrong here a few times, and I can recall several people admitting that they were wrong after I corrected them. It's still a surprise when it happens.
