[/ QUOTE ] Nice - Pre-flop: Limping isn't horrendous here but if you're going to play this hand in this situation without limpers in front it's because you believe it has equity to raise first in. Flop: Great flop for you, you have equity to bet so bet. Turn: You have the nut hand and a bettor and caller to you. Raise to build the pot. Drawers will call you on the turn, not the river. River: Self-explanatory.

[/ QUOTE ] I'm not really proving much here because it's easy to bet the flop if you know a heart will come on the turn but in some ways you do know whether a heart will come on the turn. The answer isn't binary though, it's a probability, and you can bet for value knowing that you will get the turn card you want a certain percentage of the time, as well as many other extra benefits. You'll lose a touch more when it doesn#t come but you make up for that plus more when it does come.
