The odds of getting your flush by the river are pretty bad so open limping this in middle position is pretty bad. You open raise with this hand because of the top pair power of the ace and the fervent hope no one behind you has an ace they want to call a raise with too.

On the turn you pick up an extra couple of outs so I c/r him here and see if he was iso raising you or has a hand.

and doing what on the river if called or 3-bet after your check/raised? Do you think a position aware iso raiser is calling a turn check/raise with a hand you beat very often?

A lot of this is read dependent. I wouldn't like getting 3-bet on the turn but without a read how do you let this go? And if you have the read why do you make it past the flop? Again, these are the crappy decisions you have to make because of poor pre-flop decisions.

I think you are reading too much into the preflop raise. Lots of things warrant a pfr that don't beat your AA. I would have b/c the flop. On the turn, you now have an additional four outs to the straight. I probably would have b/c or c/r'd the river (depending on if I was raised on the flop or not).

Yeah but the pre flop play is in our rear view mirror and we gotta play the hand. With 7 outs we know we are not folding the turn if he 3-bets and by the time we get to the river we really have a tough time folding top pair no kicker in a really big pot we created by check/raising the turn in the first place. So i just don't think there is enough value to be check/raising here.
