Default Re: 5/10NL - Weak?

Feel free to raise this up preflop if you like.

Raise more on the flop.

Bet more on the turn, and that's the last money you put into the pot.

Check behind on river is standard.

Why would you raise the flop?

[/ QUOTE ]

In THIS instance with HIS holding? If I'm raising here it's because I think I have the best hand and want to charge other hands or because I think I can get a better one to fold. That's obvious crap. I wouldn't be in this position anyway cause I think I either raise or fold this preflop.

I was asking him if he usually makes a semi-bluff with such a weak raise because it's [censored] and won't have much FE against the range of Villain's holdings. I think it's even worse when you're faking a semi-bluff, although he probably wasn't planning representing Diamonds until the flush hit, which I also think is [censored].

Wow, I hate this so much.

Limp pf, meh. I raise or fold. Leaning heavily towards raise.

Flop raise is absolutely horrible. What are you accomplishing?

Turn is meh. I either just check through getting ready to bet pot for value on river or bet out 200 right here. If he's calling 100 here's calling 200. If he CRs you on turn you are folding anyway, so you lose less, but why are you trying to freeze him up with a hand that has so much value in it?

With the way the hand was played? I bet this river for value every time. If you had bet 200-250 on the turn I check through the river, but after you half potted it I'm pretty sure I'm just gonna go for a bet of 200 on the river also. He called your tiny raise on the flop and your tiny bet on the turn, though that 9 is pretty [censored]. If you get CRed you can dump it, but I feel like there is just too much value left and that JJ/TT call here (if they played it up to this point this way) and QJ/QT call here (ditto). I think a lot of why I'm saying this is because of how small every bet you made in this hand was.
