Wow, that's quite a site about Ted Forrest. She must be quite a fan.

What I want to know is ... how can I get some georgeous redhead to make a fan site about me? Ted, you have to share your secret. Share the wealth as it were.

As for Todd, he has made millions playing and is regarded (by his peers)as one of the true greats of cash games, limit or NL.

I'm may not be TedForrestFan, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

I also noticed that, while I've been a member of this board for a year and half, this is the first thread to which I've posted.

I really do like her fan site for Ted Forrest though, and I want someone to make one for me. Since I've never been on Television though, and 99% of my play is online, I'm guessing it's not going to happen anytime soon. Are there any other recognized players with fan sites?

But who knows ... maybe someone has seen this PecanGrower playing at UltimateBet or PartyPoker and wants to make a website dedicated to me. Anyone out there a big fan of PecanGrower? Anyone?

I heard that Todd took some huge amount of money $14 to $18 Million from a "Famous businessman" HU.

Any details?

Frank,

For some fantastic info on The Big Game, as well as a wonderful look into the lives of high stakes poker players, read "The Professor, the Banker, and the Suicide King, The : Inside the Richest Poker Game of All Time"
by Michael Craig. WoodGuy put an amazon link to this book in the second post of this thread.

This is the best non-strategy poker book I've ever read. It was much more enjoyable for me that "Postively Fifth Street". Great stuff about Doyle Brunson, Ted Forrest, Huck Seed, Howard Lederer, Jennifer Harman, Todd Brunson, Chau Gang, David Grey ... the list goes on. It includes a fantastic story about Ted Forrest being dubbed 'the luckiest man alive' when he actually missed out on one of the sessions of The Big Game. Definitely worth the price of admission.

Read it and find out how Todd actually LOST $1 million in the first 5 minutes he was playing that 'Famous Businessman'. Incredible stuff.

My favorite line from the whole book though is when Doyle Brunson says, "Congratultions Andy, we're broke. Go back to Texas." A must read.

Doyle was quoted, "I'm the idiot who sired a genious."

Hey Wax.

I didn't say TedForrestFan was a georgeous redhead. I said that I want a georgeous redhead to make me a fan site. Ted Forrest can have his own dream girl.

And while we're on the subject ... I checked, and www.PecanGrowerFans.com is still available. So any hot redheads out there reading this ... there's still time. I don't object to you making a fan site about me.
