i think there was one a few months back.

yeah, i started one a few months back, but i kind of ended it because there seemed to be little interest. We stopped after week 2, but if anyone wants to continue with it that's great. btw, the SSHE study group was on the go while i was trying to do the HOH vol1 study group which prob wasn't a great idea

Which is the exact same reason a study group wouldn't work right now.

Wait until July at a minimum if you want significant participation.

Would the OP want to create a list of participants, and a start date (of some time in July/Aug)?

Bit of a resurrection, I am now re-reading HOH for the third
time and spotted something I missed the first two times I
read it.......

Page 22 "Position is so important that players will make
moves just to secure favorable position on subsequent
betting rounds. Before the flop you might re-raise instead
of merely calling, just to chase players sitting behind
you out of the hand"

Assuming a full table of 'average' players and all have
an M of 20+, UTG or UTG+1 call the BB, you are say 5th
postion. What sort of hands are you raising with and
by what multiple of the BB to chase the rest out behind you ?

Okay, from I see here there is no current study group and if there was one, no one added it to the wiki for easy reference six months later.

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually there's a contentless stub on HoH, so I'm not sure if i had something I intended to add or what. At any rate, i highly suggest adding links to book threads there under the appropriate book title so that they can easily be located.

I suggest you wait till the HOH workbook comes out and then setup the study group in a few months time.
I feel the NL Theory book will consume most of the energy for the first month or so.
The theory book will demand a great amount of focus.
