[ QUOTE ] great idea, put me in the "play a session" pool [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] Me too. Is someone going to maintain a list based on this thread, or another sign-up list, or what? You're certainly welcome to use the Poker Wiki to maintain a list of volunteers; if someone wants to do that just start an article and tell us the title here. I don't read this forum every day, so I'm afraid of missing out on this when it does come to fruition unless there's some systematic way of telling me where I fall on the list. |

I'd call this a really fantastic idea. A new poster dumps a reasonable-length one-table session. That poster should: 1. NOT comment on anything whatsoever. 2. Convert ALL hands in the history prior to posting. 3. Number all hands for easy reference. [/ QUOTE ] I'd rather they weren't converted. That way you can import them into Poker Tracker. |

yeah this could be cool. it would definitely highlight a lot of the unknown leaks in our games... I dont really think that a lot of subthreads is a good idea.. I can see there being multiple threads of the same hand. But i think this could be a cool idea if its done right.

I think the subthreads idea is the only way to implement this - what I think Gregatron is suggesting, is starting a thread for a discussion of the hand in general, with titles such as "Tupacia Session Review Hand 67." Also, heck of an idea Gregatron and I'd be willing to both comment on other people's sessions as well as submit my own.

I think this is a good idea. While most of your SSNL profit comes from big hands like the ones usually posted, someone who plays these well can still have big leaks. Many players have trouble with situations like floping middle pair in a 3-way pot or dealing with monochrome flops. These otherwise unremarkable hands would normally never get posted and the leaks never fixed.

2. Convert ALL hands in the history prior to posting. [/ QUOTE ] The problem with converting whole session is that you will not be able to tell who is who in different hands because names of player are converted to their position which changes from hand to hand. |

send a raw HH, use a session replayer, convert hands that need to be converted for discussion.
