Will Lee Jones write about this issue in the next Cardplayer? I think Lee Jones should write about this in the next Cardplayer. However, I think it would be very detrimental to online poker. I don't think it would affect experienced players as much as it would beginning players who are already in a skeptical state of mind (how safe is my money, I just gave out my credit card number, etc)

This issue is very important and needs to be made public, there has to be some sort of threat made in public matter so that every multi - accounter knows in the back of his mind that he/she is being watched, and could be the next ZJ.

Well it's easy to take action when you're told to. Pokerstars along with all sites need to get a lot tougher and quickly.

I've spoken to people who work for poker sites and they always assured me they had very good systems in place to stop this kind of thing. Looks like I was naive to believe them.

First of all, I'm glad you found a cheater and took the right measures.

Secondly, I'm absolutely disgusted in Poker Stars' lack of security and punitive measuers to protect its honest players.

Why have you not caught him until now?

Why do you only seem to catch the same cheaters that Party does, and you only do something after an uproar like this?

Does pokerstars actually have any security measures to catch multi-player accounts?

Who else have you caught? (if any)

OK Lloyd, I know you have PM'd me about it as well, and now with shaniac's admission above I'm through with him. And if no one else here cares much that other cheaters known to some posters here are continuing to steal from them day in and day out, then I don't care either since I rarely play tourneys.


I may however without trashing by name, start another separate thread in NVG on those who enable cheaters to continue cheating, as well as the issue of whether cheaters have a network to share ideas.

Lee Jones is not giong to write about something in cadplayer that is bad publicity for his site. I would be very surprised if this was reported in Cardplayer at all, as that magazine is little more than a shill for its advertisers, the big online poker-rooms.
