I think Randolph may really be on the hot seat if the Mets miss the playoffs.

If you improve an offense and do worse, then there's obviously something wrong with the manager rather than the players.

So, let's bring Dallas Green back!!!

So the following players have been put on the DL at some point this season:

-Beltran
-Valentin x 2
-Sosa
-Perez
-Gomez
-Green
-Chavez
-El Duque
-Alou

Let's not forget Milledge spent a significant time on the DL down in New Orleans. Burgos is out of the year down there as well. And then there is Pedro and Duaner Sanchez.

Is anyone else not that unhappy that Lo Duca is on the DL? It seems like that is the only way for Castro to get his fair share of playing time, and I can live with DeFelice off the bench. I think the lineups should be as follows:

Green

vs. LHP:
Reyes
