It doesn't make any sense to be angry at Hanley for stealing there. It in NO WAY takes the bat out of Cabrera's hands.

Which would the Mets rather have:
A) 1st and 3rd with 2 outs and Miggy up.
B) Bases loaded with 2 outs and Willingham up. (GOD [censored] CHRIST...AS I TYPE IT..)
C) 2nd and 3rd with 2 outs and Miggy up.

Note that if B is favorable to the Mets, they still have the option of transforming A into B via IBB.

It is impossible for the stolen base to be wrong following this logic (taking the bat out of Cabrera's hands). If it is wrong at all, it is probably because C is only slightly better than A, if at all, and it carries a caught-stealing risk. Given the situation, though, especially since there was no throw, this seems negligible.

Is it possible that one game this year that the umpires don't blow a call against the Mets? This has been horrendous this season.

I'll never understand wtf is going through Heilman's head. Whenever he gets ahead on a hitter, I'll turn to my friend and say, "watch 'em swing over this sick changeup."

About 5% of the time, he throws the change and gets the K.
The other 95%, he challenges with another fastball and gets smacked (regardless of whether or not it gets caught at the warning track). Mindboggling.

I still can't believe this team is in 1st place. The NL is awful. A team with a -21 run differential has the best record in the entire league.
