Just like prodonkey and Fiksdal, today was moving day for me as well...

Two pretty funny hands below, but I just wanted to post this before I get to.

Assuming I don't hit a horrible run the last 2 days of the month, July, 2007 marked a few milestones for me:

1) Learned how to really play NL (notice the 2nd half of the month). I had just moved up from 25NL and OBV had to adjust and fix a lot of leaks. Thanks a lot to Learning as well as some others way above uNL.

2) Had my first $2500 month (including RB) or my first $2k month w/o it.

3) Strictly going off of per hour, I made more playing poker than I do at work.

Here are the two hands:

Steam is bad, sir...

Stop talking about 100NL yo, it makes me a sad panda.

As I was starting my second session today I sat down at an empty table and the first guy who showed up was one of the 50NL regs (wtf), it didn't matter though cuz he is really really bad. I just ran over him because he is really predictable. 50 hands of HU later the table started filling up with normal fishies, and at that point I was up 2 BIs against him.

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 2 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

BB: $47.55
Hero (SB): $119.90

Preflop: Hero is dealt Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero raises to $2.00</font>, BB calls $1.50

Flop: ($4) K 4 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($4) 2 (2 Players)
<font color="red">BB bets $3.00</font>, Hero calls $3.00

River: ($10) A (2 Players)
<font color="red">BB bets $7.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $24.00</font>, BB folds
Uncalled bet of $17.00 returned to Hero

Pot Size: $24.00 ($0.50 Rake)

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 2 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

BB: $51.75
Hero (SB): $60.50

Preflop: Hero is dealt 5 A (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero raises to $2.00</font>, BB calls $1.50

Flop: ($4) Q 4 3 (2 Players)
BB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $3.50</font>, BB calls $3.50

Turn: ($11) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
BB checks, <font color="red">Hero bets $9.00</font>, BB calls $9.00

River: ($29) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">BB bets $22.00</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises all-in to $46.00</font>, BB calls all-in for $15.25
Uncalled bet of $8.75 returned to Hero

Pot Size: $103.50 ($0.50 Rake)

BB had 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (a straight, Five high) and LOST (-$51.75)
Hero had 5 A (a flush, Ace high) and WON (+$51.25)

I'm not sure if I'm gonna regard this guy as a regular or a fish. Probably both.

yeah thx man, that makes sense. I actually think 27/24 works fine at 50NL because they are worse players and allow you to take control, but at 100NL it did not work at all cuz they caught on so easily. I'm pretty sure I got 4bet light a couple of times but there was nothing I could do about it even if I had a feeling what was going on.

What was your bb/100 hands at NL50?

I was just wondering how you were doing before you moved up.
Is that pokertracker BB/100 or just normal BB/100?
