dropped FIVE buy ins at 100NL yesterday Running bad but played just as bad.

Bad news for:

- the 50NL fishies who will be seeing more of me
- the 100NL grinders who won't be able to pwn me again in a while
- me, ldo

god I suck.

Serious side note: I'm not even sure if I actually was +EV at ftps 100NL. They were so aggressive compared to passive 50NL, and they somehow semt to know whenever I was squeezing, 3betting light etc. Run into a bunch of coolers and nasty suckouts too of course, but mainly I just got pwned and played back at.

lot more retarded gambling at 100 than 50 on full tilt imo. Played with quite a few people today that had over 60 vpip.. can't remember the last time I saw one of those in 50nl.

ok.. next time I move up I might try something like 20/17 ftw

In this hand I encountered with an interesting gentleman. Clearly he put me on Ace-Ki.... uhm no hold on..

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.25/$0.50 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $90.45
Hero (BB): $96.50
UTG: $51.10
CO: $27.45
BTN: $6.45

Preflop: Hero is dealt K K (5 Players)
UTG folds, CO calls $0.50, BTN folds, SB calls $0.25, Hero raises to $3.00, CO calls $2.50, SB folds

Flop: ($6.50) 8 5 3 (2 Players)
Hero bets $5.50, CO calls $5.50

Turn: ($17.50) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, CO bets $8.50, Hero raises all-in to $88.00, CO calls all-in for $10.45
Uncalled bet of $0.00 returned to Hero

River: ($55.40) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In)

Pot Size: $55.40 ($2.75 Rake)

CO had Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (Ace Queen high) and LOST (-$27.45)
Hero had K K (a pair of Kings) and WON (+$25.20)

God I [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] these people. If I keep running like this for the rest of the day, I might make back half of yestedays losses lol.

lol all i did was double short stacks up. Still only lost a buy in though.. I win any one of 4 different hands I was a big fav in and i"m a winner for day instead of loser, kinda sucks poker is like that sometimes.

I thought about it a little more 27/24 is bordering on maniacal, if you want to have that image, ya you're going to get paid off.. but you have to have GREAT post flop skills. thinking players are going to be 3 betting you a ton I would think.. I would be anyway. If there are a lot of fish at the table that's even less of a reason to play crazy imo, except to maybe isolate. They don't care if you are crazy, they will pay off a nit just the same as a maniac. If you're at a table with tags it would probably be ok.. but why not just change tables.

yeah thx man, that makes sense. I actually think 27/24 works fine at 50NL because they are worse players and allow you to take control, but at 100NL it did not work at all cuz they caught on so easily. I'm pretty sure I got 4bet light a couple of times but there was nothing I could do about it even if I had a feeling what was going on.
