taylor ...

the producers are anti-pimping him.

[/ QUOTE ]

If you believe this (and I'm not saying you're wrong) shouldn't you be extremely concerned about your investment in Taylor, or at least be looking to bail at final three or definitely final two?

It seems that in the past the producers have ALWAYS gotten what they wanted in the final vote. E.g. Clay v Ruben; Ruben got all the producers'/judges' love for a long time, at the end Clay still surged into the lead with oddsmakers/trading markets, but Ruben won final vote. Identical story with Bo v Carrie.

Hey, I was only trying to help you. Your self-proclaimed reputation as an Idol expert is already strained enough, disregarding your inability to spell a past CHAMPION'S name.

i am not concerned in the slightest.

taylor, assuming he goes back to performing, is a lock for top 2. that's all i am looking for.

the reason the producer's anti-pimping him does not worry me is because;

1. the soul patrol is not flummoxed by the producer's attempt at this anti-pimping.

2. i believe in fox's standards and practices division that tallies the votes with a third party. the vote is not rigged. only the editing, back stories, harassment etc are controled by the producers. not the vote.

another example of the anti-pimp to add to the song change....

nigel was quoted before the show aired that:
"I am going to do something new. split them into highest, midde, and lowest for this week's elimination."

here is why he did that.

1. he wanted to prove that dialidol is not always right on the top vote getters (just the tank).

2. he wanted to squash rumors that taylor is getting more votes than everyone else.

HOWEVER, he chose to do this in a week that marked 2 dreadful performances in a row by taylor. i.e. there is not another week he could have done this. taylor received less votes this week than he has in the past (which will rejuvinate his base), and nigel took advantage of this downward blip.

i'm hoping taylor drops to 20 so i can buy more.

nothing self-proclaimed.

as a matter of fact, some MOD changed my title to "idol icon".

as soon as i noticed, i asked mike haven to change it immediately.

i am here discussing idol, i am NOT trying to sway or advise anyone.

The only thing I think that can hurt Taylor at this point, is that now that Kellie is eliminated, and with Paris going home next week, most of their votes are going to get shifted to either Chris or Kat.

Final 3 is almost certain to be Chris, Kat and Taylor. I would not be surprised to see Taylor in the final 2, but either Chris or Kat is going to win.

it is prominently featured on news shows. there is a history of lawyers trying to shut them down. simon cowell refuses to even discuss the site, etc etc.

if dial idol can predict the loser each week, and it has in recent weeks with near perfect accuracy (within the margin of error), then this is a threat to the results show that draws 25,000,000 viewers per week. this is a big threat to the entire AI concept.
