Default Re: Wooo hoo!!

From my blog:

Currently, my most winning hand is AA with $245.63 in profits, followed by KK ($184.00), TT ($165.25), and QQ ($142.87). My most losing hand is ATo with -$40.33 in losses, followed by ATs (-$33.50), KTo (-$29.62), and A7o (-$27.00).

A7o? That's kind of odd. I've had A7o dealt to me 121 times with the largest single loss being $6 on a very old hand from almost a year ago. (Remember, I took a big break from poker last year). Holy crap, I can't believe I played this hand so poorly (from 08/31/2004). What was I thinking?

Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 7c, Ah.
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls, 3 folds, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (5 SB) 3h, 5d, 7h (5 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG+1 checks, MP1 bets, Button raises, SB calls, Hero 3-bets, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls, Button calls, SB calls.

Turn: (8.50 BB) 4s (4 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, MP1 folds, Button folds, SB 3-bets, Hero calls.

River: (14.50 BB) 5h (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 16.50 BB

Results in white below:
SB has 6h As (straight, seven high).
Hero has 7c Ah (two pair, sevens and fives).
Outcome: SB wins 16.50 BB.

Can you say "overplayed"? Yikes.

Word is born.

I went to Garden City yesterday (local B&M) and tossed away $89 on 2/4 in about 3 hours.

Every decision I made that mattered was (so far as I know) the correct way to go at the time. Every damn one turned out wrong.

2 pair loses to trips on river. Damn!
AA loses to 2 pair. Damn!
nut flush loses to full house via runner-runner. Damn!
nut straight loses to B.S. crappy low flush via runner-runner. Damn damn!
Pre-flop raise pushes me out of a hand where I would have flopped a straight-flush. AAARRRRGGGHHH!!!!!!

Truly the worst day of poker for me EVAR!

I dunno, man... I hate having that kind of full house. By that I mean, having the pocket set under the pair.

This hand is probably not configured right... but if the villain had 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], well...

Of course, in this case, I'm not sure about his calling 4 bets after the flop with top two pair, but then that's why he's a villain.

I recently put $100 into Paradise Poker, cuz of the "soft" games that I have heard so much about. .......
Now listen, I can (and have) make up to 5BB/hr on UB easily because the players play "Right", but this Paradise sh*t is absolutely killing me...

know you had to have the nuts every time. Goddamit.

Just venting, thanks

[/ QUOTE ]

Well maybe you have to go into the picolimits to find it, but this is an example from Paradise last night.. fun hand.

Paradise Poker 0.10/0.20 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

River: (32.50 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players)

Final Pot: 44.50 BB

BB's Preflop reraising didnt convince me of his 86 or 36 for a straight on the end.. though those cards are sometimes seen on these tables..
SB showed AA
BB mucked 66

They both left the table immediately afterwards without a word. Bit impolite I thought.

when Variance hits you, it makes you it's bitch and slaps you until you can't see straight.

i think i've played ~300-400 hands and haven't one. i kid you not.

Are lurkers allowed to post bad beat whining on here? Just moved to .50/1 (finally) to get the bonus on stars and have already lost about all I can hope to gain by the bonus. I lost to the worst player at the table three big hands in the same session. I'll only post the worst one (even though I guess his only bad call was pre-flop), My Daddy obviously not being this shark's screen name:

PokerStars 0.50/1.00 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
Hero raises, UTG+1 (My Daddy) calls, 6 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (6.50 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, My Daddy calls, BB calls.

Turn: (4.75 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, My Daddy calls, BB calls.

River: (7.75 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, My Daddy raises, BB folds, Hero 3-bets, My Daddy caps, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 15.75 BB

Results:

My Daddy shows [3c 4d] (four of a kind, Fours)
Hero cries at the idea of going back to .25/.50

Lurkers are always allowed to post bad beat whining in here. In fact, I think you score some points for knowing to put it in here rather than starting a new thread. Way to go!

Now, we've just got to coax you out of your shell to reply to some hand posts.

Anyone that doesn't know how to win with a full house should keep their thoughts to themselves is what I figure.
