MLB record 14th HR in April to give the Cards a 2-1 game winner. Carp looked awesome. Looper looked great. Izzy walked the bases loaded but got 3 outs without a run, which is good for him.
Washington played an excellent defensive game and overcame some horrible home plate umpiring to keep the game 1-1 through the early innings.

LaRussa is just brutal. JRod finally getting some playing time, gets his average up near .400 and with two-outs and the bases loaded, he brings in So Taguchi to pinch hit and play lefty-righty when up 4-2. Taguchi gets a hit, but WTF?? Let JRod play! Last year he was .295 vs lefty and .296 vs righty. *&^%)*&TP({ONOFHGP*$$ LaRussaaaaaaarrtghhhh. Let him play!

Another big win today. It is nice to see Edmonds have three RBI's with Albert walking four times. Hopefully Rolen will be back soon? The relief pitching is looking very good. Hopefully Izzy will get everything straightened out.

Another road series sweep for the cards. What was with the lineup Larussa put out there today? Rolen still sitting out, he sits Pujols, Edmonds, and Rodriguez. Encarnacion hitting fourth? Your playing the first place team in the central. I would think you'd want to put out a better lineup than that. I assume he just wanted to rest a bunch of his player before they head to Houston, but still...

Please play Rodriguez, he hit .300 last year .438 so far this year especially if your resting Pujols and Edmonds. The idiot announcers were praising LaRussa today for not overexoposing him because he's of to a good start, with that reasoning Pujols should only play once of twice a week too.
