A true POT is the person in the left lane who stops their car in the middle of the street, lost and sitting there until they figure out where they need to go.

Because after all their time is much more important than anyone elses.

Nope, that's a douche. Also, how can you not see how NASCAR is associated with trashy people?

[/ QUOTE ]

In the Northwest (and most places, it seems), NASCAR is certainly associated with trashy, but is that necessarily so everywhere, e.g., the south? When I was in South Carolina we went to a high-end after-work type of place, and every TV had NASCAR on it. You would never see NASCAR on in the same category of bar in the Northwest. Seeing that, I just assumed a much higher percentage of people in South Carolina liked NASCAR, many being not trashy in the least. I guess that assumption also assumes that one doesn't consider everyone in the south rednecks.

The NASCAR fans that aren't trashy you don't notice, because they're not the toolboxes with "#3 WILL LIVE FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS" on the back of their 4x4.

I see it is associated but not that it should be at all.

There are trashy people who are fans of every sport. Now if you mean there's a higher % of trashy people that like NASCAR vs the NFL then I'd agree with you.

[/ QUOTE ]
Bingo! It's a total redneck sport. Obviously there's a lot of decent people who enjoy NASCAR, but the sport's overall image is very trashy. It's kind of like the pitbull thing.

If Jim's a soccer fan and John is a NASCAR fan and you have to lay odds on which of the two is the trailer trash, what kind of odds are you gonna give?

Same could go for Pitbull owner vs a Labrador owner.

chefs/cooks/kitchen people have been wearing them, or some form of them for years, they are great in the kitchen, otherwise I agree.

[/ QUOTE ]
Wow, completely disagree. Crocs are essentially open-toed shoes with maybe 50% more coverage, which may be helpful against sharps but is not at all helpful in every other kitchen accident.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ive been in about 20 or 30 restaurant kitchens, and crocs are found everywhere. they arent the "plastic" crocs, they are usually leatherish/or thick rubber etc, ecspecially made for kitchens. Ive never worn them, but they are super comfortable from all accounts and make it easy for kitchen staff to be on their feet 18 hours a day.

people ripping on garage sales...wtf...garage sales rule. There is all kinds of cool stuff if you are wiling to get up early enough on a saturday, bar signs, blues LPs, bar glasses, steins, and other random stuff that you cant find anywhere else for a quarter.

I like target too, they have everything, its really easy to get all your toiletries etc, if you dont want to deal with going to the grocery store.

I dont go to wal-mart, only been in one once, just because there arent any around here.

Grown men in pro sports jerseys. (cycling and soccer are exceptions)

[/ QUOTE ]

WTF is with the exceptions? If you are going to hate on people supporting their teams, at least be consistent.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well for one, cycling jerseys are functional if you're cycling. I don't mind grown men in pro hockey jerseys if they're playing hockey. And soccer jerseys are an exception because they piss off many American sports fans (I don't follow soccer, but I support pissing off American sports fans).

Pls report to Douche thread and raise your hand high, thank you.

The only "crocs" that I know of are those that are bright colors with holes. I guess I'm just clueless about their newest phase.
