This thread is pretty depressing. So many years, such a huge country, so few great bands [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

There seems to be a tendency to have a lot of solo artists who are stand outs - but had to do it all in their own name as opposed to being part of a band.

When I think of defining UK or Aussie music groups and bands come to mind. For US it is a lot of solo artists and some bands - but the mix is definitely different.
