I agree. I think it's pretty wolfy to say "X is villager for voting me" and I think this is what we see here.
In fact I think someone else did the same thing in this very game.

Also - about Sam. The major downside of Sam coming out tomorrow no matter what is that a wolf will likely fake Sam as well - giving us two claimed Sams and no way to ensure protection for the real Sam if all Sam has is a villager peek. IMO Sam should only come out tomorrow if he has a wolf. This will make it much less likely that a wolf will fake-claim Sam tomorrow and will guarantee that Aragorn will not protect a fake Sam tomorrow.
