I watched that MoPete replay online about 25 times on a loop, awesome seeing the player's faces when it went in, Sam Mitchell's reaction, The Wiz's stunned looks, the people in the crowd, just a great finish to a great game (which I didn't get to see, I need to spring for raptors tv).

The call by the swirsk was awesome, he was so enthusiastic. "I don't believe it! I don't believe it!"

Marwan, where did you see this posted online? I'm trying to look for the replay. Swirsks was was just awesome! LOL I would like to see the stunned look on wizards fans again.

What was amazing about Mopete's shot was that he played a total of 8 seconds the whole game before going into overtime. He took 1 shot and it went it. During the whole game the camera had pan on Mopete's face sitting on the bench and saying how he has yet to even step on the floor. Amazing, I'm so happy for Mo.

nba.com had it as its play of the day on its highlights thing and espn motion had it as well.. It's on youtube now if you want to relive the memories.. with Swirsk commentary!

Everyone and myself included called for Sam's head at some point or another, but I think this season validates him as a good coach when he has some pieces to work with.. Raptors are having one of their best seasons in franchise history, they've overcome a horrid start, they were written off, and Sam didn't panic.. I know Colangelo wants to bring "his guys" in, but I say don't disrupt a good thing.. If Raps win a playoff series, or even if they fall short, Sam deserves an extension.. I thought they should have already taken care of it and not let it linger, but I guess Colangelo is keepin g his options until the off-season.

After watching that youtube video I'm just reminded of how awesome Chuck is.
Also in Toronto it will always be

I'm secretly rooting for the Leafs not to make the playoffs so the media attention will be on the Raptors.. it's so hard being a basketball fan/hockey hater in Canada..

typical sports station in Canada: "Breaking news: Leafs trade 12th round pick to Pittsburgh for 2 minor leaguers and cash.. We have word that the podium at the ACC is ready with the new minor leaguers.. and now some feedback from the players.. Tune in to "The Spin" for more indepth analysis of this blockbuster deal and its implications for the future of the leafs.. Ludsy and the boys got ya covered, stay classy Canada.. In other news, the Raptors got by their first round matchup"

Then about 3 minutes of Raptors highlights and post-game.

HATE LEAFS SO MUCH

Hate CBC so much for blowing the Leafs every chance they get while my precious Sens go uncovered.

QFT. Let's go Raptors!!!

Any 2+2ers heading to any playoff games? We should hook up for a beer at Lord Stanley's.
