Don't agree, as there may be some pressing need I can't forsee.

Potential pressing needs:

Your favorite fingers?
Movies middle-aged men can watch alone?
Foods that remind you of counties in your area?
Final meal before going on a plane trip to Slovakia?
Pens or pencils or mechanical pencils or crayons or markers (also chalk)?

killa,

"DB in case ppl are unclear,

You need to lose all 4 in order to be exiled right? so If ppl vote to ban RJ , then survivor over, you are not taking any one else on correct?"

This is incorrect. db has put out multiple individual survivor challenges that have been accepted. Right now, at the end of this one, either db or RJ will be exiled. If it is RJ, then db will move on to another Survivor challenge.

TY el d, I wasn't sure what happen in that whole mess

DaveR and tuq, how is this not lose/lose for the forums? Neither of you is widely disliked, and losing either of you would make some part of these forums worse.

Edit to add: Tuq, seriously. Get on the burritos thing, man.

Stuey,

"people try to change the rules to be sure he has no chance."

What? Nobody is trying to change any rules. Survivor is very straightforward. Two people face off. One of them no longer posts in OOT.

All people are doing are suggesting that this actually be enforced for db as it would for any other poster.

Even you must acknowledge that db's intent was basically to use RJ as a pawn here as part of his attention-seeking challenge. I think that is wrong and hope it backfires on db.

All,

"Don't agree, as there may be some pressing need I can't forsee."

HAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA

db saying "I will be exiled from OOT, well, unless I decide to post in OOT" is even more reason to just get him exiled and over with until he comes back in a couple of weeks with a new scheme to get attention.

Exile him, then ignore him when he comes back. That's the way to make db lose here. Right now db is finally happy because this garbage is getting him tons of attention on OOT. However, all these Survivor threads are really just doing exactly what db excels at - clogging up OOT w/ crap.

Let's get this over with and move on to sam's vision as OOT mod - a place where there's more actual good discussion and content with less noise.

Okay let me clarify by example. I was thinking more about the time someone asked about some site or link, and it was obviously a spyware site or similar, and El Diablo was encouraging n00bs to use it cos he was in a bad mood or something. I warned them not to. That sort of thing.

I tried to find a link to this, but I can't - which is a real shame. Blarg may remember it though, we talked about it by PM - I remember saying what a lousy thing it was to do.

That clarify matters?

I would think that PMing Mat or a real moderator could produce the desired outcome. Your direct participation in the thread would not be necessary.
