Height measurements from Senior Bowl Monday:

Troy Smith 6' Even
Chris Leak 5' 11" 7/8

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't buy it. When they met on the field after the game Leak towered over Smith.

OK, but I put more weight on an impartial ruler than your perception of watching 2 guys on TV wearing cleats and football pads.

I agree that I would not want to be the team drafting either of these guys.

The big rumor floating around is John Fox and the Panthers love Brady Quinn. They've been doing a lot of talking to move up to the top of the draft. One scenario going around is Carolina trades the #14 pick and a player (possibly Kris Jenkins or Chris Gamble) to the Lions for the #2 pick.

Brady Quinn is supposed to be the total package at QB but yet I still find that hard to believe seeing how he never was able to lead Notre Dame to a win in a big game or a bowl game. I think people are willing to look past that fact because everyone is in love with ND and Charlie Weis.

This doesn't really make sense, the Panthers already have a good QB.

Did you watch a Panthers game? Jake Delhomme was AWFUL.

I'm struggling to find any kind of evidence that Delhomme is AWFUL.

Awful is not the right term, I think he has regressed as a QB. If they have the shot at someone like Quinn is it might be a good move for their team.
