Don't allow pokertracker, don't allow HUD. The games would soften up. You asked...

[/ QUOTE ]

I second this.

Make the default buy-in for NL cash games a full stack, not 40BBs or whatever it is.

So far a bunch of people have mentioned the speed of the software issue, but none of the responses from employees of Stars thusfar have addressed it. (unless I missed something)

Any plans to do anything about this?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah.. I really don't get this. This costs both Stars and poker pros money.

[/ QUOTE ]

Changing the speed of their softwar is an entirely different animal than screwing with the FPP system or SNG structures.

2. Get rid of the bb200 25ante level in SNGs. There is no point to this level, it just makes the the 100/200 effectively twice as long as the rest.

[/ QUOTE ]

This level is really clutch in MTTs, though.

[/ QUOTE ]
Yes it is. Please don't change this.

The FPP system should definitely take into account the number of players at the table. Six-handed play in particular gets screwed because we still pay the full $3 rake. At a ten-handed table that is 30 cents per player, at six-handed it is 50 cents per player, yet the FPP we receive is the same.

[/ QUOTE ]
definitely fix the fpp system somehow.
ring players get screwed compared to tournament/sng players, and 6-max players get screwed even more.

it would be best to completely base fpps on contribution to rake, even in cash games.

Can y'all extend the "regristering" period of time?
I'm not sure if it's 1 or 2 hours now for most tournies.

On other sites, I'll check for MTTs hours ahead of time, regrister, leave the house and return for the MTT. If I miss the 1st 5-15 mins. of a tourney, no biggie.

Just another point that mostly stating the obvious but since there's a lot of that in this thread it won't harm. If the expected influx of new players does happen and /or the vpp system is overhauled (and it's probably fair to say that one could influence the other) one of the effects will be a large increase in VIPs at every level. Now the fact that the freeroll system is being changed next year anyway is noted, but I would hope that whatever alterations are made, more vips will not constitute a subsequent reduction in value of whatever shape those freerolls take for all.
