Maybe she wants to see if you're the kind of guy that wants to ditch the kid every chance you get or are you the kind of guy who is comfortable getting on the floor and playing with Playskool Toys (kyro - you are great with kids and you know it.) Babysitters are expensive....unless Mom and Dad are nearby. The safe approach is "should I pick up a pizza and movie or would you like to go out somewhere? What works best for you?"

It's not like I am utterly incompetent with girls. It's just that the last couple of girls I've made plans with have been unbelieveably messed up. But before them I had two very normal relationships.
