Men Nguyen currently sitting on 36k according to Cardplayer. Was he not one of the no-shows from yesterday who was blinded out?

No, he wasn't, that was Minh Nguyen.

All the guys on my last longer list who are playing today or yesterday are cleaning up Ivey, Ferguson, Sexton, Men Nguyen... I was mad someone drafted Harrington and Hellmuth before I could, but it appears I have lucked out in that regard.

Up to 33k with 1100 left. We're playing one more round tonight (6 total).

I've won a few small pots but picked up most of my chips on 2 hands.

hand 1
Aggro player (Al Barberi sp?) raises in MP. I call with KK in BB. 2200 in pot.

Flop is JT8 2 diamonds. Ugly but he's capable of raising with any 2. I'm committed mentally based on my read. He bets 1200 and I pop it to 5000. He thinks and calls. My read is a pair only.

Turn is a 7 and he checks. I push 9,000 expecting to get called. He's putting me on a draw and in the end folds.

hand 2
EP raises to 800. blinds 150/300. Loose MP calls. I call in BB with ATs.

Flop is A42. EP pushes remaining 2200. MP calls. I call worried about my kicker a bit.

Turn is A. MP checks. I bet 5000 and he folds. EP has QQ and my hand holds up.

I'm out.
At dinner break, I had 15K.
12:20am, 12K. J9o. 150/300/25. Limped in the co. Button raised to 1k (17K behind). Eric Froehlich (35k behind) called. I called. 3 player. Flop QcTd8c. Erick bet 5K, I pushed all-in 11K. Button thought for 3 minutes and pushed. Eric Called. Eric KcJc (flush and opened straight draw), button showed TT (a set of Ts).

Turn Q, River Q. Button won all with full house.

Jeff Veach eliminates Garrett when his K-10 runs into Garrett's suited A-Q. Garrett ends up hitting his flush on the hand, but Veach takes it down when he completes a full house. Garrett let Brunson in on the irony by yelling the news across the room.

Veach is Doyle's grandson.

Men Nguyen Eliminates Antonius
Men "Master" Nguyen raises to $1,500 under-the-gun, Patrik Antonius pushes all-in for $4,150, seat 10 calls along with Nguyen. The flop comes Ac 9s 3c, Nguyen and seat 10 check. The turn the Kc, both players check again. The river is the Kd, Nguyen bets $2,000 and seat 10 folds. Nguyen turns over Kh Qc for a set of Kings, Anotonius turns over As Qd and is eliminated by Nguyen from the main event. Nguyen now has $42,500.
