Thanks to everyone who participated.

I think there are a lot of fantastic ideas in this thread. I will be sitting down and prioritizing them with the development team this week. Hopefully many of the appearance suggestions will end up as options.

On the multi-table issue, my gut instinct is to take it up to four tables right now and see how the site grows and just as importantly, performs.

I'm a pretty regular player on WPEX and here are the things I would most like to see.

HU tables - As stated elsewhere, HU is just a raketrap on most sites unless you play quite high. I try to play a good amout of HU on WPEX since this isn't a problem. Even if you can't fix the blinds on a normal table when it gets HU, this would provide a place for players to play a probel HU match with correct blinds and no interruptions from other players sitting in.

More 5-max tables - i never understood why there are 5-max tables at 3/6 and 10/20 but not 5/10. Put them at every limit.

Hand Historys - I really don't if they are on the HD or not, I suppose I would rather them not be so that all the HUDbots stay away, but I still want to get my own HHs to review and track my own play (espescially on Wed when I might miss the HH# when my AA gets cracked) and the current HH retrieval system is terrible.

Other than these things, the only other real issues are obvious software bugs: the disappearing bet, double betting after a lag spike, etc.

Write hand histories to disk but do not include the opposing player names. Everyone gets the tracking ability for themselves but not the fish finding and HUD capabilities.

Whoever suggested this, I think this is an awesome idea. If this is something that could be implemented what reason would anyone have to be opposed to this?

This open discussion format is much more revealing than a poll.

For example, if you read through the posts regarding massive multi-tabling it is pretty easy to see that those who are against it tend to make reasonable, logical, well thought out posts, while the posts favoring it tend to be more “me me me gimme more for me right now” and contain either no thinking at all or some bit of twisted illogical supporting justifications.

I suggest that printing out each suggestion on a separate sheet of paper, sorting the papers according to subject, and then sorting each subject into “thoughtful” and “thoughtless” piles would be very enlightening.

I dont really like it. I should be able to look over hands I personally played in and see all the data involved. If I wanna see how im performing against player X, or see how often he checkraises me on the turn, I should be allowed. Also if I suspect someone of collusion or some other wrong doing, not having the player names recorded prevents me from looking into the matter.

If a site wants to stop HUDs then they should just outlaw HUDs, not mess with way the HH is recorded.

I think the big problem is datamining, not the actual info you get from the relatively small sample size of hands you are actually involved in. So just not making the HH available unless you are dealt in is the best way to do it IMO

From your conclusion list WSEX GM

[ QUOTE ]

Get rid of cards at bottom
Keep big cards at the bottom

[/ QUOTE ]

Make this as an option as someone mentioned! And so that default is "Keep big cards at the bottom" (attracts fish to play more hands).

For the most important thing, which is playability, I´d suggest you to look ongame networks (pokerroom and skins) table view or B2B networks table view. I think those two are better than Partys. Two things which are great at ongame network, but lacks at Party are 1. Time left for decision also shows in coloured bar over your screen name (helps when you play more than 1 table). 2. When you are timed out because you didn´t act fast enough, put "i´m back" button instantly to the table so you are dealt in the next hand if you wish. I dunno how this time out issue is at the moment at WSEX, but make this whole multi-tabling functionality as it is on ongame network, thanks. I have played in every large to large-medium poker sites and ongames functionality is the best so far I think.

I agree with you that 4 tables is fine and NO datamining, HH:s to hard drive to track OWN play so make this work like it´s on Party right now and it should satisfy everyone. Thanks.

P.S If you like money you should add higher stakes. I think that biggest players love to sport bet and play some big bucks casino games too.

And most importantly pot-limit omaha and also pot-limit omaha high and hi-lo tourneys and I´ll be there!

All preventing HH's to the hard drive does is make it a little more difficult for people to get them, but in the end, they always get them.

Thanks, Action_AJ, you reminded me of what should be a priority. Instead of increasing max tables and writing HH to HD, please lock Action_AJ's and all the other blind skipping abusers' accounts and keep whatever stolen funds they haven't cashed out yet for advertising.
