Never happen. There are beer/liquor/wine distributors in every congressional district in the country. And they are very active politically.

I'm just talking about rhetoric for the opponents of this bill, not whether it could actually happen. I see Congressmen make these arguments all the time. The rhetoric is semi-believable because it happened once (Prohibition).

At least bring it into the conversation, because it's not the conversation Goodlatte wants to be having.

anyone interested in a joint trip to beat the **** out of their bank-robber "poster boy" when he gets out jail?

[/ QUOTE ]

I would perfer something far more insidous. Scoop him up and take him to a home game. His addiction will come back. Be sure to loan him lots of money so he gets in more debt. Then charge him Tony Saprono interest rates.

[/ QUOTE ]

I support the amendment. I yield back the balance of my time.

These [censored] thugs would be singing a different tune if they got their cut.

What's the difference between congress and the mafia? The mafia has integrity.

Today we can . . .

Stop suicides

Prevent Bank Robberies

Prevent Money Laudering

Stop Drug Trafficking

Stop Terrorism

Just by voting to ban internet gaming. Sounds like a no-brainer.
