im suprised that you guys are suprised. i would never put my kids in daycare either. most of the reason being that if youre going to have a kid you should put serious effort into their development, i believe a daycare hinders this development and shows kids a lower level of love and compassion than they need. fair?

this is so wrong. while parents MUST give their children unconditional and unlimited love and compassion, daycare teaches kids to socialize and be active even as early as 18 months.

if you have a kid and no job, and basically play with him all day from his birth, he WILL get bored by age 2 and you will need to put him into an environment like daycare.

there are plenty of ways to socialize your child without daycare. the minuses far outweight the pluses. there are all sorts of playground groups, baby gym classes, etc.
