[/ QUOTE ] They seem to play mid/high decently enough, sure. But what basis is there for some complete stranger to come and offer people 2:1 for smoothcall to take on top pros? It's another one of their kind, or it's... no, I don't think there's another explanation. And smoothcall's latest post is the perfect microcosm of what's wrong with their approach. "Hmm, while it is true that every thread I participate in gets derailed into a flame-fest, I'm pretty sure it's not because of me..."

Sure a guy comes on here puts up his ideas on a news (views) and gossip forum and you want to ban him. You have got to be kidding right. Not only that he posted real facts he did not fabricate them. You are going to ban a top player because he has ideas. Maybe you can learn something from him rather then banning him. Maybe you could even learn to play 100-200 to 30-60 10 games like him as well. I am starting to think this form is moderator ban forum on Two Plus Two. Also there does not seem to be any integrity to the forum. People are releasing personal information. I thought all info was to be private about personal names. I see names on here. I still believe this is a great site and great forum and I tease a lot and Alan your record speaks for itself and you have the money so you must be doing something right to win the tournaments. Still Smoothcall is one of the best and when he has an issue he should be able to post the idea.

He said he didn't need to re-read, so now I am wondering why he would misquote me on purpose (among other things). I have little experience in dealing with people who exhibit such behavior. Excuse me but I also have little experience with posting on internet forums. I didn't know what "troll" and "trolling" meant until today. (I also didn't see there was a variance category on 2+2 until today). Frankly I don't care if Smoothcall gets banned or not, but I do plan to largely ignore him in the future.

What happens is there are a certtain group of posters(and one or 2 moderators as well lol) that troll me and make insults towards me solely because they dislike me. I am trying to refrain from responding to everyone as you see i let many insults go that the moderator (dids) lets insult me. He bans vince lepore because he insulted dids himself. You see there are different rules here. If you insult dids you get banned. If you insult smoothcall nothing happens. If its a profanity insult he will sometimes delete the post and sometimes not. But he will not ban the people. I was called a d'bag by a moderator (josh) What happend to him? nothing!!!! Vince calls dids a dope and BOOM! Insta ban! It just doesnt seem right does it? I mean you or any other posters(whether you like me and vince or not) admit that dids is unfaily biasdly using his positon to pun ish the ones he doesnt like and let slide the ones he likes. I though a moderator should be inpartial and fair. I miss Matt Sklansky and Mason. The days when you didnt have to be afraid of getting blasted and be forced to bite your toungue in response otherwise you would get banned. I will not discuss this topic again unless someoneelse bring it up. And just plan on straying on topic. If the bad seeds stop taking me off topic we will get along fine. You seem ok trying even though you have insulted a bit yourself but no hard feelings here. Enjoy the forums. I just stumbled across this thread for the first time (I see it's been going on for quite awhile), and must say it's extremely frusterating to see 2p2ers act in such an obnoxiously childish manner. We're so lucky to have Alan take time to post here, only for him to be berated.
Once again it appears as though I will miss out on professional advice and strategy. This time from one of the better deepstacked postflop hold'em players. Absolutely disgusting. At least show some respect.
