Calling a fat person fat isn't misogynistic, sorry.

It would be sweeeeet if cheap labels like that really worked, though, wouldn't it?

Blarg, take that racist tone elsewhere!

Or something.

(that's how you win arguments nowadays, you throw out senseless inflamatory names)

This thread needs some SPACE MOOSE! (for those of you who don't know the backstory, Space Moose was a very popular underground campus comic strip that was at the University of Alberta (Canada).

The strip was hillarious and also took liberties making fun of pretty much anyone and everyone, very very very un-PC.

Interestingly enough the artist's favorite targets were fundamentalist Christians and ultra hardcore feminists (which apparently were rampant on campus).

here is a link to the archive containing them all, I highly suggest you check them out, very OOT style humor)

http://www.hackcanada.com/canadian/zines/spacemoose/

and a few gems

a few non-feminist related ones

i'm fat - i don't expect people to think i am attractive because of it - i know i am not. so i wouldn't be offended by someone thinking my weight is unattractive. i don't think that is really the point of the thread ?

i find it disturbing when girls who are definitely NOT fat are called fat , though. this happens way more often than it should. but not much can be done about that. there is a lot about the world and the way people think that i don't like, but can't expect to change.

i think it's sad in general when people find it necessary to constantly make fun of people for their flaws (men & women). especially people who aren't putting themselves in the position to be judged. i try to not be that way although i'm sure i do it sometimes too without realizing it.

even ignoring the comments on looks/weight (which can be pretty bad) - i think there is often a lot of hostility toward women that shows up on this forum and just accepted when a lot of it really shouldn't be. probably isn't as noticable to most of you since you're all guys and can just laugh along. i have a pretty good sense of humor but i've definitely gotten sensitive to some of these comments after reading this forum as long as i have been, because i realize it's not really funny.

i am not saying i am expecting a change, i'm not. just giving my opinion and agreeing with the other girls here knowing it really doesn't mean anything.

Did anyone read that zoophila thread that got locked? I found it more than a little disturbing that the "general" forum on the zoophilia board looked/sounded a lot like OOT. IE - "What are you drinking right now?", "What are you listening to right now?", "poetry time".

No point to this, just posting it here because that thread was locked.
