No Kevin Doyle? To go from Irish part timers to the prem in two sessions is a huge leap up in class his really impressed me. The rest of your list all cost millions in fees or salaries but Doyle was only £30'000 so in terms of bang for buck he has to be the winner.

its benny mccarthy for me. he has been super impressive every time ive seen him play this year.

I think this one is close between Martins, Berbatov and McCarthy because they've all performed pretty well. If I had to pick one it would be Martins because he single handedly pulled them out of the crapper and also missed a decent number of games.
