Shane, do you think the El capitano/Exclusive affair is the first multi-accounting case ZJ heard about?
Was multi-accounting something you had never heard yourself of at that point?

- How about teams playing at different locations sharing hole cards via MSN, phone, webcam etc... ?
- Have you never heard of swedish, norvegian or danish groups destroying the big PLO games at 24h? (and other sites as well)
- Are you unaware of what goes on at ladbrokes?
- Have you ever heard of signaling at live poker, leading to chip dump?
- Do you know anything about the racketing of certain online poker sites and how they steal money from the large pots?
- Are you aware that many of the freeroll prices like seats at the wsop are impossible to win because the site owners already have agreed on who they will be awarded to?
- Do you know that some succesfull poker sites had from the beginning taken the attitude that it was a "freeroll" business attempt, that if it went well, fine, and if it didn't management would just take clients money and declare bankrupcy?
- How many persons do you know that team up at the 6max tables 4 at the time to skin 2 naive players that will then be posting about "swings" in forums like this?

Big buck poker is not pink (but I believe you already know that).

Get specific or you are wasting my time. You failed to answer the hacked executable question. Precisely how do you know the client is hacked?

Oh and IsDebuggerPresent is only good for debuggers that play by the rules, one of those totally voluntary things. Get complex on me please.

Both sides have to be willing to communicate for anything useful to occur. It is possible to execute code that isn't stored on a user's system.

I even acknowledged that it was only a basic first step when I told you about that. Like I said, there are numerous things written on the subject of detecting debuggers.

The first time multi-accounting occured to me as something that is going on was when Riverloser mentioned something in Stars chat about people "playing 3 accounts in last year's WCOOP." Then the El Cap thing, etc. Not sure when ZJ was first made aware of this type of thing. I didn't find out about the Party hack till months later.

I always attributed it to something in the water up there in Scandanavia (is it Scandanavia?). What is 24h?

Never heard of this, but it would seem easy enough for them to do. However, from a site owner's perspective, I don't see a good risk-reward balance.

Again, seems like a bad risk-reward calculation. Are you talking about Stars FPP freerolls? How about you start naming some names.

No I had no insight into the mentality of any operators, but it doess't surprise me. What exactly is your point?

None, but nothing is shocking. I'm sure there are other 2+2ers up to shady stuff.

I have been in the poker world for a long time, before all the young punks started making 6 figures every week and I know everybody (good and bad people).
This I have said many times and I don't care if people believe me or not, but I have always been straight, to the point that even bad guys would trust me and try to get me involved in their tricks (wich I never had, and now have to see all the money those people have made).
(and yes, that makes me sour sometimes)

I agree Shane, you are not ready to have a calm discussion with me.
I can try, but pretty hard when somebody call my vision annoying or compare myself to McCarthy, Jesus!, a liberal like me (you can ask in the Politics forum) compared to McCarthy, that's something.
I think your words are the ones filled with emotion and kind of "hysterical"

Have you entertained the idea that the fact that so many people is calling something black, it's because it is black?

Cheating is cheating even if some of my friends or people I know are doing it. The issue does not turn to be complex just because some of my friends are involved.

Some of the posters here are pretty vocal and want to see JJ and ZJ die. Of course I don't agree with them. They made a mistake and they already paid; I wish them well in the future, hopefully they learn something from this experience. We all make mistakes and we move on.

I just want some of the cynics who keep cheating even with all these scandals to get caught and pay also. If that's emotional and I may take more fire from some of the internet names, so be it. I really wish they all get caught and all their funds confiscated, after that happens, I'll wish them well in the future too; and I'll be glad to play with them in the same tourney using one account as some of us are already doing it.
