Bah. Good game all. That was some of the worst defence I've seen the sens play and I hope they get back in form the next game. Sabres deserved that one with the way Emery played late and the defencemen sucking.

My thoughts on Game 1

Both these teams are immensely talented when it comes to creating offense. Buffalo's defense looked horrible most of the game, while Ottawa's D wasn't exactly good, it was servicable. The big difference was in the goaltending, I actually thought Miller played a decent game, most of the goals Ottawa scored were the result of horrible defense instead of bad goalkeeping. However, thank god, Emery is horrible. Just a terrible game by him, and I cannot see Ottawa winning this series if he continues to play like this. I thought both PK'ers were outstanding tonight, especally ottawa's as they gave no room to buffalo.

I originally thought that this would be a pushover for Ottawa, but with the way Emery played, I cannot see that anymore. If buffalo's defense plays an average game, they have a very good shot in this series.

But overall, what a game, and I really really missed the MSG broadcast on this game, Rick Jeannerat was have lost his voice, and I personally think OLN sucks donkey balls

This win helps the Sabres immenseley not just due to stealing home ice...but I in proving to Ottawa there not gonna just run over us....like said above if Emery plays as bad as he does then its a totally open series....and I think Ryan Miller can steal one....

I did not think Emery played that bad, I can't really say he let in any soft goals. The biggest problem for the Sens was they had so many horrible turnovers, mostly from the defenseman. At the same time, Buffalo's forwards put alot of pressure on them and created many of chances off Ottawa's failed breakouts.
