Default FPHG v0.02 new download location

Sadly my free host has decided to limit my bandwidth because of the number of people who have been downloading the poker apps from it!

New link to latest version is now here.

Juk,

Awesome work, dude. Thanks.

winchips,

I was having this problem too, but got it fixed. Instead of telling you what I was doing wrong (which would take awhile), I'll just tell you what I did that fixed it.

(1) In Poker Tracker, open the lightning-bolt auto-import window. Down at the bottom, hit the "Configure" button and select the "FreePHG_v0_02" folder that is now located inside your Empire Poker folder. Then hit "OK", which will close this window. On the window that you will now see, do a force-import since you've already got the HHF files that folder. This should do it.

Hope this helps.

Ok, that is getting me somewhere, but on my first import it says:
Import Finished With Errors - The import finished but there were errors. Open the Utilities/Error Log Display/Maintenance window to see the errors - 1 file(s) read - 0 new hand(s) were imported.

on the log it says:
File contains no Texas Hold'em hands or unable to determine what poker site this file came from.

any help?
thanks - getting closer

I wish I could be more help, but me not using PT anymore makes it hard for me to work out whats going wrong.

Have you got the latest version of PT?

Also, maybe you could post a HH from FPHG which wont import for you and see if somebody else gets the same problem. I haven't had any negative feedback other than on the two know problems I mentioned in the readme. Namely: missing hands under high CPU load and missing the end of hands with side pots (which I hope to fix as soon as I get time).

If it is FPHG at fault and you can show me a HH which is failing then I can go from their.

Default PM possibly relevant to others so posted here

Just got this in a PM, but gonna start posting the replies (rather than sending a PM back) if I think its relevant to everybody using FPHG - this way it saves me answering the same questions again and again.

I remember that I had to add -s someplace if I wanted the program to work a little faster...where was that? I couldn't find the info. in the post and gave up looking.

[/ QUOTE ]
There is no way to make it go faster, but you can make it use less CPU time (at the risk of missing some hands) by running using the batch file (run.bat) or but using the -d option (-d 1000 will make it rest for 1000ms between scans).

Doesn't the newer version of pokerace do pretty much the same thing?

[/ QUOTE ]
No PAHUD beta can get the stats for the players at a table without having to play a hand, but it will not gather new stats on players (ie: only displays the stats you already have in you PT DB and these stats wont change).

If I have the hand grabber running while i'm also sitting at some of my tables will it screw up the tables i'm sitting at by importing the file twice or will pt be able to tell its the same hh file and ignore one?

Hi

I'm having some issues with the import part of this, partially because I'm retarded, I'm sure. what's the best method for getting these imported into party poker? the Party auto import or the lightning bold auto import?

[/ QUOTE ]
I'm also retarded..can anyone give us a crash course on how to get this up and running.

[/ QUOTE ]

Hmmmm... I moved to using a different utility called PokerManager, and don't use PT much anymore. You could try this if the PT code has been altered to not allow importing of HHF's:

In the run.bat file, alter this line to say:

start /low FreePHG.exe -e txt

This will make the output file a .txt rather than a .hhf, you should then be able to import these files in the same way as you import your own hands.

Juk

[/ QUOTE ]

I think this could also be related to my problem, not sure how to convert the files
