[ QUOTE ]
these guys talking about football/mls/beckham is putting me on tilt.

"the arsenal youth team that is dominating the carling cup at the moment, could win the mls"

[/ QUOTE ]
arsenals youth/reserve team would totally destroy the MLS and finish high in the premiership

[/ QUOTE ]
Their reserve team would win the MLS and be a lower mid table side in the Premiership. Not primarily due to the quality of the players, by the way.

I'm not listening to the braodcast.
Are you guys seriously telling me that heads-up in this huge online-poker tourney the commentators are talking about soccer instead?
That's pretty weird.

[/ QUOTE ]

after 20 hours of continuous online poker, what?

Perhaps since they're not meant to be discussing strategy, and they don't know who the players are either, they don't have much else to talk about.

after 20 hours into the broadcast you do your job and continue to commentate on something relevant and perhaps have occasional chats or comments of a fun nature.
You don't have the whole broadcast be dominted with an MLS vs. Premiership argument that a good portion of your audience isn't going to understand or care about anyway and is kind of a dumb discussion to begin with whether it's at the end of a poker broadcast or not.

I see Lee Jones talking but I don't see anybody talking to him. Is he just talking to himself or something? Where are those comments coming from?

Sorry, have to dispute this. If you don't know about football, you have no business talking about anything else in life.
