any thoughts on why the red team took dave of all people? did they not know of his troubles at the tribe and thus it was stupid to pull him away easing the turmoil OR was it smart to allow them to plot against him and eliminate him because he is actually strong/a threat? [/ QUOTE ] Probably removing the "leader" strat. JRB pretty much saved his ass by speaking Mandarin, they were totally trying to punk him with the "stop barking orders" at me segmant though . He really is just translating.Sitting out the Challenge is a good move it keeps your self off the radar. His strat of coming from behind and making a push is going to get him to the jury but never to the end . Court is the biggest liabilty on the islands it looks like a strong breeze might take her away. While she may be right about JRB her hate for him might be her demise too. The black chick is a goner "save my strength for challenges" oh please. She'd have to be unstopable for that to work. Then she'd be voted off for being to strong later. The tinkerbell flight Att is so totally fake , JRB sorta picked up on it. As to be expecting there will be a mix up with the tribes next week the one tribe is just down to many people at this point to keep up. |

Did anyone else notice that Dave's occupation changed from "Former Model" to "Bartender"? I wonder if he bitched at them for making him sound unemployed.

[/ QUOTE ] i did. i actually assumed the survivor people changed it....thinking former model, what a joke. but it would be hilarious if he complained...but i feel like he would be more proud to have modeled than to be a bartender. |

I thought for sure it was gonna be Sharia. [/ QUOTE ] The competitions take an absolute minimal amount of effort. They might as well just flip a coin. What is this bitch talking about "I save all of my effort for the competitions. That is what I live for." The poker player better win since I am watching this crap. |

James, who is capable of carrying the team on his back for challenges, might be excused for sitting on his ass all day and saying, "I'm conserving my energy for the challenges. Just keep me fed and hydrated, bitches, and I'll take you to the promised land."
But Sherea? The rest of the team has to expend extra energy keeping the camp livable and feeding her free-loading ass so she can be rested for challenges, where she barely holds her own? At first I thought they were stupid for voting Dave off unless they knew for a fact that a merge is coming before the next challenge. Now I wonder if they didn't stumble on a good plan. They were going to be two down no matter who they voted off. With James on the other team they probably can't win team/physical challenges anyway, and there's such friction between Dave and the rest of the team that they'd probably spin their wheels on any puzzle challenges. At least if the next challenge is a puzzle, Sherea will stay out of the way ("I'm conserving my energy for the walk back to camp.") At this point I'd just concede the challenges. Erik and Frosti are in no danger of being voted out, so they should dog it in the challenges so the other team doesn't worry about them come merge time. Right after merge, find the people who are not part of the other team's core alliance and join with them. We often see a core alliance within the dominant team reach a critical point within one or two challenges after the merge where the others can band against them and break them. If it doesn't happen they run things for the next 4-5 votes until they begin to fracture when members start positioning themselves for the endgame. JRB has probably backed into a good position. He was pretty unlikable early, but managed to avoid getting voted out. When this happens, that person often hangs around for a long, long time, because everyone either figures "we'll vote him out next time... next time... next time..." or they decide that he's unlikable enough that they want to actively keep him around to the end because they think they can beat him heads-up. [I highly doubt JRB planned it this way. He's a poker player, and with most poker players being able to 'read people' is a distant second to being socially maladjusted and annoying.] |
