Khan seemed somehow both more and less annoying than I expected. I kinda agree with Lon and Norm's assessment of him.

The 60 year old farmer dude scared me.

Don't know about being "greased". Khan doubled him up when Khan raised his blind and then called his all-in with Ax. Don't have my notebook in front of me, but deaf guy had a big pair and avoided an ace, and once he'd won the hand, put his foot up on the table and pretended to be reeling Khan in like a big fish.

[/ QUOTE ]

As Arrogent as Khan had been acting, I have to say, I about fell off my chair, because I was laughing so hard, when the Deaf guy did that.

Best part of the ESPN WSOP to date, that's for sure!

BTW, didn't the Deaf guy have pocket aces?

So who do we get to see next episode?

The only reason I'm excited to watch this is to see the episode where Kenny Tran is at the featured table.

I think he had pocket K's.

But anyway, that was awesome when he did the fishing thing. Khan laughed and gave him kudo's for it which cast him in a little better light in my mind.

Yeah, Khan seems to be a really good loser, like Tony G. But a bad winner (albeit, not as bad as Tony G)

I've said this before during the WSOP, and I'll say it now. I've had many conversations with Khan and he's like this constantly. It may be emphasized for TV but he's like this all the time. He gets way too excited (Sup Red Bull) about hands but he just really loves poker. He's not hurting anyone and he's not degrading anyone's play. Annoying? Sure, but what harm is it doing?

[/ QUOTE ]

You sir, are part of the problem and not part of the solution. You and people like you are the reason the WSOP coverage has turned into a freak show rather than coverage of a poker tournament. What do we get to see now, about 8 hands an hour? Just because Khan is a jerk in real life, we should excuse it when he's on TV?

If you wanna watch poker, watch HSP. ESPN loves people that 'perform' because they help ratings. Do you REALLY think they're gonna show quiet tables of unknowns silently playing hands? Hell no. :\
